Our push-to-connect flow control valves (speed controller) are designed to provide one-way adjustable restriction for varying air flow in one direction and full flow in the opposite direction.
The pneumatic actuated process valve (all types of quarter-turn) can be slowed by the use of speed control installed in the airports of the pneumatic actuator. One speed control valve will slow speed in one direction, while two are required to slow speed in both directions.
Slow closing valves reduce or eliminate damaging water hammer in the piping system.
